Forums error

I thought I'd try and get some of the little irritations on my site fixed. Any help is much appreciated.

This error only seems to occur on an ad hoc basis - or maybe it is for guests as opposed to registered users?

A search on google shows a fix for allowing anonymous users to post on cpgnuke, which uses the same phpbb? Is this likely to be the same problem I am experiencing?
