Please keep my wife (Margie) in your prayers

My wife, Margie, has to have the following surgical procedures done tomorrow, 14-Mar-2013, at 7:30 am:

Spinal Surgery
* Laminectomy
* Facetectomy
* Foraminectomy (unilateral or bilateral decompression of spinal cord, cauda equina and/or nerve root[s] [spinal or lateral recess stenosis])
* Single vertebral

In English, it's kinda like a roto-rooter on L3, L4, L5 & S1 facet joints in hopes of relieving over 4 decades of hip and leg pain. Wink

2 years ago she had a neural stimulator implanted in her spine and hip and got some relief but now it no longer helps Crying or Very sad

The surgery is supposed to take from 3 to 4 hours. Thanks to all!

Thanks to all! The surgery appears to be a resounding success, Praise be to God!!

She came home yesterday and is already walking and even going up and down our stairs, albeit slowly Wink

. When she woke up in recovery, she said ALL pain was gone from both her hip and her leg!

My best to you and Margie too Gaylen. I know this has been a long couple of years for you two. But look ahead: we are going to a wedding tomorrow for friends who are 87 and 85 years old. There can be plenty of good times ahead for us old folks.
