Does this mean my site is unpopular with hackers?
Have I somehow found the ultimate tool to beat them?
Sentinel is great, it's just my site isnt that exciting for them I guess lol |

My sites are generally left alone too. I don't feel bad about it at all
I think people are targeted from search engines, from posts on some forums, rival sites sometimes target each other and so on. Usually they are looking for sites that are vulrnerable to specific attacks. So searching PHPNuke + {Vulnerable Module} presents a nice list of potential sites to deface. As an added bonus they can get higher ranked sites and get more attention for those.
But yes the script kiddies read these forums as regularly as we do. We'd like to think when they see a Sentinel banner/block they choose to move on to easier targets. |

I used to receive anywhere from 5 to 10 per day. My original HA script brought that down to probaly 2 to 3. Since installing Sentinel(tm), I receive maybe 2 or 3 per week, tops. |

and there was me thinking I bored them to death
I'll never understand the kick they get out of bringing sites down. It's beyond me.
I'm just glad I've got Sentinel there waiting to kick ass if they pay me a call |

Ah, they are just in training for you!

That's a nuke site where members get points for managing to hack it. Presumably this gives 'em confidence for the real WWW. |

You mean a non-member? Sure, probably. Why would a site that allows members to hack it be exempt from hacking per se? But it'd be illegal and perps could be prosecuted if caught, and that raises the question whether hackthissite would call the cops if a non-member hacked it...! BTW that site has a very similar IP # to majidonline, which is of note only to myself. |
