Does this create any type of problem?

I'm using a TopSite type script and sometimes wonder if it creates security problems for nuke.

It would depend on the circumstances. For instance, let's say you found a neat and nifty upload manager that wasn't integrated into nuke. But, you shared the same MySQL server or even database. If that script had a security issue then potentially your database would be in harm's way. Nuke can stand on its own with security issues - It doesn't need any help from other scripts ROTFL OTOH, if you have a snippet that you place into nuke, unless it is accessing the database, there isn't much chance of an issue.

No uploading ... I don't allow that anymore ... just too darn scary ... lol

The script assigns you a number and a URL for a graphic image ... people put the code that the script gives them on their site, and every time the image is loaded the script counts it. Then on my site the script generates a dynamic Who's Site is #1 report for anyone to see. All of this is done on the side of nuke. Databases and everything is seperate, for now. Someday I'll port it in when I understand that process a little more Smile
