This may be more of something I did then an actual bug. I have this showing up at the top of my PHPNuke site after installing Sentinel.

/*****************************************************/ /* Function to translate Datestrings */ /*****************************************************/ function translate($phrase) { switch($phrase) { case "xdatestring": $tmp = "%A, %B %d @ %T %Z"; break; case "linksdatestring": $tmp = "%d-%b-%Y"; break; case "xdatestring2": $tmp = "%A, %B %d"; break; default: $tmp = "$phrase"; break; } return $tmp; } ?>

What do I need to do to keep this from showing up ?

That is not a part of Sentinel code, so I'm not sure what else you may have changed that is causing it. If you comment out or remove the Sentinel(tm) INCLUDE statement from mainfile.php does it still show?

I did this and sure enough this stuff still shows up. Weird though...it only showed up when I first started Sentinel. Have any idea what it may be since it doesnt appear to be the sentinel ?

It looks like you may have made a change in some block/module and have placed a ?> tag before you should have. Sentinel does not alter any other module/block.

You know I recently made some sort of change to a block somewhere. Now if I can just remember where that was ! I have been retracing things I have done. I will make a post about where I caused this.

I am still stuck...still have the same thing showing and nothing I have found that I have changed makes any difference when I change it back to before I changed it. One thing I did happen to notice is that my theme cp marquee had stopped working as well. Not sure if that is related of not but it all seems to have happened when I started the sentinel. I dont have any errors anywhere, is there something I can use to tell where this script on the top of the page is coming from ?

If sentinel is commented out then you aren't using sentinel.

That message is coming from some kind of an error in your language/lang-english.php file.

ok...yea I am convinced it isnt Sentinal...I went and put the include back in since that wasnt the problem. Just dont know why it showed up when it did...but I have seen other things do this. I will look through my language files and see what I can make of this problem. Thanks for the help here Raven ... oh and by the way Sentinel looks really sharp.

Man...you are the man with the answers !

I looked in the language file and just as you said I had placed some needed things in there but when I had copied and then pasted, I didnt notice I had an extra ?> tag in there. Bang Head

Again many thanks...much appreciation will be sent in the form of the green backs.
