Admin password lforgotten

I forgot my admin password, and was able to connect to phpmyadmin, no matter which password I use, it is not accepted.
I even deleted the authors table hoping to recreate new table, it did not work.
What am I doing wrong?

If you go into phpmyadmin and find the nuke_authors table and find your username under the aid field. Edit that row and change the pwd field with this

that should make your password for that username password

Make sure you edit admins and change your password to something you can remember that is safe.
