Hey,

This could be an issue with my security settings but I was hoping for some advice as to what I need to look for in order to fix the issue.

I can't seem to download anything from here at Ravens PHP Scripts. At first I figured it was just a bad link for the new 7.4 patched but I then tried to download about a half a dozen other things and none of them worked.

I enter the Fetch code and click Fetch It and I get a 403 forbidden. The address displayed in the address bar is http://www.ravenphpscripts.com/fetch.php when I get the 403.

Any ideas what I blocking to make this happen?

Thanks,

Dan

Make sure your not blocking the referer with a firewall like ZA or NIS.

Other then that all I can say is wait to see what Raven has to say because I really can't think of anything else that it could be.

I what Six has said doesn't help, read the explanations in the download screen that are in bold red.

I've found that if you have Norton anything running .. you can't download. McAfee doesn't seem to be as picky but will still sometimes bomb. For me it's just simpler to disable everything, download, then restart all the protection software.

Hey Raven maybe that big bold red paragraph needs to be bigger, redder, bolder and maybe blinking with a check box to indicate it was read ... LOL Laughing

You can download with just the firewall disabled, but Norton Antivirus (enabled) will detect abuse.php (in Sentinalâ„¢) and class it as a virus. Rolling Eyes
