I finally got Sentinel to work (see some other posts ), but now I've still a problem.
My junkfilter on my hotmail account automatically moves e-mails that contain my own adress and were not send by me to my junkbox. Sentinel does just that, so whenever I get an alert, it gets moved into my junkbox, something I don't want.
Were and how can I change that? |

Sentinel does not interact with any email accounts at all. Not quite sure why your Hotmail is doing that other then you might have set the filter on it to filter your mail but it is not Sentinel in anyway or form that is affecting your hotmail account. |

I mean the alert emails. Example:
I've put the email sentinel@hotmail.com in the sentinel mail list. Now when an alert is triggered then an email will be send to that address, correct? The mail will be in this form:
Quote: | FROM: sentinel@hotmail.com
SUBJECT: Abuse - blabla
Put the text here. |
My problem is the bold text. That causes hotmail to act strange, because it's my own mailadress.
Filters don't work in this case (I already tried it).
So I just want to now how I can change the "FROM" field. |

Then why don't you just leave it as your nuke admin address in Admin Contacts:? |

You change that by going to Sentinel Configuration and changing the Admin Contact field. Now, it would appear that the email is triggering Hotmails filters so first try setting the use email lookup to "Off". |

I now have avoided the problem by using an adress (webmaster@mydoman.com) as a forward email, so hotmail sees that adres instead.
My Email IP Lookup was already set to OFF.
And I don't understand what you mean with my "nuke admin address"? I only use one address for the whole nuke site's administration and that one was filled in the field by default.
But anyway, it works now, though other hotmail users might experience the same probs. |

I meant just that - Your nuke site admin address. I didn't understand why you changed it to your hotmail address. |
