My son runs a website for an online game. There is another person that scans his site for current gameplay information for another website. This person has 4 static IP addresses. We tried Sentinel 1.2 a while back on this site, and it banned all 4 IP's.

Is it possible to Exclude specific IP addresses? Would I write an 'Allow from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' to my .htaccess?

One way would be to remove the agent from the list of harvesters.

Could someone tell me if Agent is one of the most popular exploit attempts? My sons site is getting more popular, and has been hacked to pieces before. I don't want to remove Agent if it would leave him vulnerable to more attacks.

Yes, keep yourself protected from the AGENT exploit.

What I meant was find out what Agent they are using, and remove that particular agent from the list.
