Hi!

I just successfully installed Raven's Nuke package and was on the process of tinkering with the administration settings. I tried clicking on the Sentinel Administration but nothing happens. What do you think is wrong?

BTW, I access my site from home(dynamic IP) and from work. If the Administration menu works, how can I set it in order for me to login from both locations?

thanks in advance.

It sounds as if maybe not all the files got ftp'd. I can't really think of anything else. The login is based on your admin id/pass so it matters not from what location you login from.

The only files I did not ftp from the package was config.php and all the pre-packaged themes except fiapple.

Though, I encountered a warning message when I was installing the tables using the install script. It tells me that I don't have permissions to create tables but at the bottom of the screen it says it created 120 or more tables.

I meant the Sentinel files. Also, verify that your tables were created.

I may be wayy off in left field here, but when you say you clink on Sentinel Administration do you mean when you click on the Sentinel icon on the admin page or are you getting in to Sentinel and can click on configuration but not administration.

I may be wrong and I have 2.0 install and don't want to roll back to check it but I know in 1.2 one of those link didn't work.

I can click on the Sentinel icon, when I get there I am presented with 6 links: Sentinel Administration, Sentinel Configuration Site Administration, etc. The link that does not work for me is the Administration. The screen after I clicked on the Sentinel icon and the screen after clicking on Sentinel Administration is the same. Are they really the same?

I would appreciate if someone can send me a screenshot of the screen after you clicked on Sentinel Administration. I really don't know right now if this is really a problem or it's just the way it works.

thanks.

In 1.x yes they are the same. A page with the links only. In 2.0.0 each link has a complete page Smile

ohhh.. okay. Rolling Eyes so the sentinel version that comes with Raven's distro is a 1.2. if i decide to upgrade sentinel on Raven's custom nuke package would it be different from upgrading an original phpnuke?

You simply overlay the files and run the upgrade script Wink
