Hello all. Ran into an issue installing the new Sentinel RC6. I followed the instructions in other posts and did a complete uninstall, and reinstall. I get to the point where I kick off the nsnst.php and do a fresh install, and I get back a success for all new tables, etc. WHen I click on the Admin link for Seninel I get a blank screen.

Any ideas? Version 1.2 worked like a charm. THanks!

sounds like you forgot this step in the instructions

6) Add *include("includes/sentinel.php");* to your mainfile.php just
after the opening <? php line on it's own line. Like this:
<?php
include("includes/sentinel.php");

Hey Fuzzy,

Yea, I verified that I have the include statement. I should have mentioned Im running CPGNuke as well. I found in the past that it wouldnt work if I placed it at the top of the mainfile.php, so I just put it alittle lower in the file and everything was ok. Now though, its not working.

As far as I know, it's only designed to work with PHPNuke not CPGNuke.....that is potentially the problem and probably why you may not get any support in getting it to work......

Guess I could always back down a version. Or see if anyone at CPGNuke has had any problems. If I find a solution Ill post it here as well.

I have a phpNuke site as well that I will work on getting upgraded.

Have you looked in the CPG-Nuke forums for instructions on how to port for use with CPG-Nuke?

Yes, I used the information posted there for my previous install of Sentinel. I was going to try and uninstall and reinstall the 1.2 version again and make sure I can get it running again. I was worried I would run into a problem when I upgraded, but the new interface just looked too sweet to pass up.
