EDL v2.1 VS. NSN GR Download

I wanted a diffrent download module than the default and I was just trying to decide which one to use.

I like EDL v2.1 because it can show pictures and a few other small things, but I hear that they have pour support and if I were to pay for something I would like some kind of support. On the other hand it is only $5.00 and almost any help I need from sites like this one.

I also like NSN GR Download because it comes from a great site with great support (plus I use NukeSentinel and planing on NSN Groups soon), But I really don't care for the 2 colum display.

Anyways I was just wondering what you guys thought of each.

I prefer NSN GR Downloads because, well, I coded it Smile

The main benifits of it are it's free, it interacts with NSN Groups, and don't get me wrong cause I like Shawn, but I can help with most any problem you have with it.

well i use nukestyles download it great for my use because i run a gaming site, but updates are slow.

NSN has a great download system and is well supported. Bob and the nsn supports team really stand behind there scripts.

NSN groups with nsn groupdownloads.
Using it on 2 sites and works great.

Well I have decided. I'm am going to use NSN GR Download. Why? Looking around I felt that NSN had better support, less problems, and I am already using NSN News, NSN groups, CNB Your Account so why not. Very Happy

I sat and looked at the dual coloum display and found that I liked it more that I thought about it, it allowed for more downloads per page without making the page miles long.

The other thing is you can always hack in a wysiwyg editer with a photo upload features if thats something you really need.

I use EDL 2.1 and like it. If anything ever goes wrong i'm toast, though.
