REQUEST method

I just received a block notification for an Agent

Microsoft Data Access Internet Publishing Provider Protocol Discovery Query String:

I know that this was caused by the disco harvester, and was going to delete the block, but then I looked at the rest of the notification. It was a 201. from Montevideo. The request medthod was OPTIONS. Is that a normal method? I will leave the block in place, because of the 201. address, but I be concerned about Options? Thank you, Steve

It was informative. Basically it is checking out what methods my site will accept. Harmless, but I don't trust the IP. I will ban it anyway. Thanks, Raven.
