I have no idea what happened to this website but i always need to use Ctrl+F5 on every page i visit.

This means pages are cached for 24 hours and this has a major drawback!

Problem is the phpBB "topics read" mode that is based on "last login" instead of you actually have read the post.
Due to that some people might miss many new topic posts within their session and if they revisit after 24 hours they never see those as "new".

So everyone should use Ctrl+F5 if they visit Raven forums within 24 hours Wink

I noticed that today, too. Did you PM Raven? I will...

That was fixed yesterday. If you clear your cache you should not still be seeing that. At least I am not. If you still are please detail the steps to reproduce it.

I'm seeing this problem still, both at work with IE6 and at home with Firefox.

You must clear your cache for the correction to work

Thanks, clearing the cache has worked at home with Firefox, but I still see problems at work with IE6 (if you care about that). (Yes my silly employer makes us use IE6 and actually uninstalls/blocks other browsers).

Gremmie, you are not alone on the IE6/employer front. Sad

I have cleared cookies and cache and all temporary files on IE6 a couple of times, and still have problems on this site alone. And yes, I have to hit either ctrl+f5 or f5 to see the most recent version of a thread.

Thoughts? Other than the fact that IE is a piece of crap, what meta command isn't IE honoring?
