Hi all,
I had coppermine 1.22b installed on a phpnuke 7.1 and all was runn well. I recently change servers and decided to upgrade to the latest in the proces. So I upgraded to phpnuke 7.5 wit CS Security patch 2.7 and Coppermine for CMS 1.3.0a.

here is the deal. All works great on the nuke side. Coppermine works fine but with a few problems.

1. Delete picture - when I try to delete a picture I am presented with a blank screen.. and the picture remains undeleted.

2. Slideshow - Does not work. No pictures displayed.

3. Posting a comment on a pic - comments get posted but you are taken back to the coppermine main page.

There may be more issues but these are the big ones.

Yes, I know that the dev team has moved on to CPG-Nuke so they are no help with the CMS version. DJmaze has provied some assistance on similar probs with 1.22b in the past but I can't find the fixes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. http://molosserdogs.com

find in your phpnuke files the following:

register_globals(0);

if it says 0 or something then change it to:

register_globals(E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE);

FB has the bad habbit to hide all errors in his system, this little trick reveals them and also shows why coppermine has errors.

Hi DJMaze,
Thank you for replying. Did you really mean ALL my nuke files or just the mainfile.php, modules.php, index.php? etc.. I'll follow your advice and post results here. Thanks again.

modules/coppermine/db_input.php

Hi Six,
Made those changes - fixed those two problems.

Remaining to solve -

Slideshow does not display pictures.. nothing happens..

still testing for more bugs.

You are awesome..

Just be thankful your not testing on windows!
I think I got your back on this one too!
I changed /modules/coppermine/includes/slideshow.inc
All I did was change all instances of $HTTP_GET_VARS to $_GET then it mysteriously worked! I'm guessing that $HTTP_GET_VARS is getting walked on by some code in between nuke and coppermine.

Actually now I found that this was already added on the CPG forums too lol oh well at least I found it!

Then the fix for the stop link is to add $CPG_URL to the global line of the slideshow() in displayimage.php around line 418
