functions.php and common.php

Serious ring kissing going on here:
I installed the Amazon module from another site. All seemed to be well, and this is the only change that I have made to the site.
Now I have tried to enter my forums. When I try to access forums from admin I get this error:

Warning: main(mainfile.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/site/public_html/includes/functions.php on line 24

Try to access from link to forums I get this error:

Quote:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: encode_ip() in /home/site/public_html/modules/Forums/common.php on line 214

Attempting to view members list gives same error as the latter.
Any ideas what I've tweaked out of shape?
