Cant change default theme arrrghhhh

Just went into admin to change the default them to another one, and I get 'the html tags you used are not allowed please go back'

Never happened before, dunno if it happens in my account cos not tried it but will in a couple of minutes.

The page that loaded when I tried to change the default theme, was admin.php but it had the logo for my shop on the page???????

Something's gone wrong here, help!! lol

ermmm about all I've added lately is a few blocks, the christmas countdown, a tsunami donation block and a couple of other little blocks with links to external pages.

I'm wondering if this is linked to the problem I am having adding some blocks, because when I was trying to make a centre block for webring it wouldn't add the block to the dropdown list in blocks admin, and some blocks since then haven't shown in there either (but not all blocks, some show up ok). Hmm... this may of course not be connected at all.

I haven't added anything else at all. I definately haven't edited any of the core files.

The only stuff apart from the blocks I've added is usual news articles and articles in the encyclopedias.

The only thing I did do recently was add the code into the htaccess file for the Santy Worm thing. I also added that code into the htaccess file of any php programe I had running on the site that was linked externally, but those programs are working fine.

And I upgraded to Sentinel 2.1.0.

As for the site files themselves I've not touched them since the next to last patched files.

Infact I was going to update the site today with Chat's latest patches, because I've not had time to do that since the previous update, and I'm still on Sentinel 2.1.0 so I was going to update that too.

Not sure if I should update now, or would the updates put right anything that's gone amiss?

Also I am getting banned when attempting to Edit Admns in the site control panel and can't change anything in the site configuration page.

I posted in the sentinel forum cos I think it could be the last upgrade of Sentinel doing it, maybe a file didnt get uploaded properly due to my slow connection, so wanted to know if I can reupload over the top of the files there now, or do I have to destall Sentinel and do a fresh install of 2.1.1?

Comment out the include lines in mainfile.php and see if the problem goes away.
