Forum version 2.0.11 question

I did the upgrades in order from 2.07 all the way up fro chatserv's site. Everything is working great except the login box at the bottom takes members to this link:

http://www.mysite.com/modules/Forums/modules.php?name=Forums&file=index

which doesn't work.

The forums link is actually this:

How can I fix this so the log-in at the bottom of the forums work? Thank you.
Also, why at the bottom of the forums is there no security check? And why wouldn't people use this to bypass the security check?
