Hi...

1st of all Merry Christmas 2 everyone and 2nd of all let`s get ot buissness :

I have PHP-Nuke 7.5 and I installed NSN Sentinel 2.1.2 without problems...

The only problem i have is that I want a CGI Auth... or whatever you call it..

I have configred the files : .htacces and .stacces ... I encrypted the password, i`ve done everything i should have... The problem is when I upload them to my nuke root folder, it asks me for the password and the username, okay but it keeps asking me until I get an error like : the password ain`t right or i dunno what...

I can`t even configure sentinel to use CGI Auth because I need to upload .htaccess and .staccess in order to configure Sentinel to use that... and when I upload them i can`t click Save Changes coz it asks me for the password and username and it says the same thing...

I tried to disable CGI from phpmyadmin and i got in the sentinel panel, but when i click any link in there it asks me for the password again and it says it ain`t good and stuff...

I`m postive the password sis good and that both files are well configured... Everything is working fine when I delete .htaccess and .staccess but ... I`d really need CGI Auth...

If you got any ideas please help me....

Thanks Wink

Did you CHMOD .htaccess and .staccess to 666? Did you double check the paths to both are set correctly? Some servers allow relative paths (.htaccess and .staccess) while others require full paths (/home/path/to/your/.htaccess and .staccess)?
