I have phpnuke 7.6 with Sentinal 2.1.2b, the version ment for 7.6 that you can dload from this site.

If you upgraded, make sure that auth.php in the Nuke root is deleted (leave the one in the /includes folder). Then, make sure you have the correct version of admin.php available to the server. Those Access Denied errors typically are from when people upgrade and forget to switch a file or two. Was this an upgrade?

yes it was an upgrade, the auth.php file you said was in the root folder; is not there, no trace of one.

And the admin.php files that I have is the one that I got from the 7.6 release. I re-uploaded it again just to make sure. I'm still getting the access denied messages. :s I am still looking for a solution, because this is just a mystery. Is there any file in NukeSentinal that controls permissions for the admin cases/links/module related files in administration panel?

NukeSentinel would have no effect. To verify, just comment the lines in mainfile.php.
