Raven, et al,

I get an 'access denied on the top left corner of the screen when I go to the admin address. I still do not have a place on my page to login as an administrator. The funny thing is that I'm able to login with my pc at home. But not at the office. Now, I've deleted all cookies from my browser and in my pc both on explorer and Firefox. I deleted the cached files and no luck.

I recently, last night, used chatserve's patch for my 7.5 nuke. I've looked at my database with the Myphpadmin tos see if any IPs were blocked and did not see any. I have not re-installed Sentinel yet although I think I've deleted the entire program correctly. Any thoughts?

There isn't an Admin logon that comes stock with phpnuke. You have to use http://your_site.com/admin.php

I understand. The problem is when I type http://my_site/admin.php, is when I get the access denied message. This does not happen in my pc at home. Only in my office. As I said I deleted all cookies and cached pages.. Is there something else I should do? I do not see my ip as being banned. TIA

This is very strange. I never had to type the www. to access my site. The name without the www has always been fine. Until now. I just added it and I got in. Sorry to be so ignorant on these issues. I suddenly remembered adding this to my admin.php file and got me thinking. Embarassed Embarassed

$domainname = "www.my_site.com";
if ($_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'] != $domainname ) {
echo "Access denied";
die();
}

Thanks again.
