Candy, I can get to the link just fine AND I use this tool quite heavily. Why don't you try again using the link you provided above. Maybe the site was having trouble when you tried last.

i can get to the LINK fine, i just can't download the actual mod. I got to type in the security code to download the file and i get "page cannot be displayed" error.

this is what it goes to when i click "download this file" after typing in security code:

Candy,

I was just able to save it to my desktop and even without having been logged in. Check to see if you have any pop-up blockers or an internet security firewall software that might be blocking the download. I occassionally have to turn mine off just before clicking on the download button and then once I have the file I turn it back on.

Hopefully that is it because I am running out of ideas since it works fine for me.

thanks montego! i think you're right because i can DL when on my laptop but not my desktop. i'll try it later on my other computer and see if it works. do you know if the google toolbar that has popups disabled would have any affect on being able to download the file?

thx!

I don't know for sure, but you never know. You just need to rule out one thing at a time until it works... The good news is you know it works for someone else, so you are bound to find it eventually.

Would be helpful to let us know what you find out that works.

If you are able to download it on your laptop and another computer then it has to be something to do with the one PC. Have you downloaded Windows XP Service Pack 2 recently? I just thought of that one. It has caused a whole host of issues with internet security.

You may wish to ensure your trouble PC has all of the latest patches from Microsoft since installing SP2.

Here is some trouble Raven had with SP2. I had troubles too, but I kept downloading patches and eventually got back to working.

You may wish to also check microsoft's knowledge base or these Forums for your specific issue. It HAS TO BE your desktop configuration.

By the way, since you can download it from your laptop and another PC why don't you transfer from one of those machines to the one you're having troubles with. Numerous ways to do this: email attachment, Yahoo Briefcase, your own Nuke site (add a Download), FTP the file to your web server from work and then FTP it down from home, etc....

There are always workarounds...

Good luck,

okay, i finally got this D/L to work, but after all the fuss, it's not what i am looking for.

can anyone take a look at this program and tell me if you think it would be compatible with nuke??

http://webinsta.com/mailing.php

this looks like a good newsletter system, but i am afraid it may not be compatible w/nuke if i upload the files to my site. any advice is appreciated.

thanks!

Why just not use NSN newsletter instead?
