Forums guest book what?

I have this non-nuke site for my business.

I want to have a questions and answers place for poeple stopping by.

Should I do stand alone phpbb?
I would make it so no one has to register to ask questions and such.

Should I do a guest book?

Opinions please.

Guest books aren't really designed for Q&A tasks, and can be rather annoying to try and hold a conversation with. phpBB standalone should work just fine for you... You don't have to make a zillion Forums, just one or two will do. They are designed and threaded for exactly the purpose of sharing thoughts and information in an orderly and convenient way.

Another bonus is that a Forum tends to build a community. I can't see anything more valuable to a community (especially one conducting business) than to have people who drop by every day to see what's up on the Forums. Even if your site content is slow to change, the Forums tend to be very dynamic and people want to tune in. Good luck Theos!

Thanks a lot. I'll go with phpbb.

It's not gonna be fance. Just a place for simple questions and answers. This is not something other counter top fabrication companies are doing.
