ok how do I downgrade my phpnuke database from 7.8 to 7.7 patched by chatserv 3.0. I was thinking downgrading 7.8 to 7.7 then upgrading the db to chatserv's patched 3.0 but how would I downgrade my DB.

There is no downgrade to 7.7 from 7.8, but there is a downgrade to 7.6 (Pre-WYSIWYG editor).

do you think could downgrade my db to 7.6 then upgrade to 7.7 then to 7.7 patched 3.0

Sure, downgrade to 7.6 then upgrade to 7.7 and last apply the patch. Do make a full backup of files and database beforehand.

It worked perfectly and now what wasn't working because of teh database change earlier is now working flawlessly. I can't thank you enough.

Glad that you got it sorted out, it's good to know that a script like the one 64bitguy pointed out is available, there seems to be a demand for this option.

The nukescripts link above isn't working ... Sorry, such file doesn't exist... Is there another downgrade from 7.8 to 7.6 resource/link?
