convertiing news from another site

hey all...

i have a XOOPS Site up and i will start to make a php nuke Site instead...
I have many news in my XOOPS site are there some way i can convert the news from XOOPS PHP to PHP-NUKE i really need all the news Wink

please help me...
it could be nice if i could convert more like members and other stuff from my xoops site Smile

to php nuke

My advice.
Install PHP-Nuke and comapre news tabel structure. It has to be pretty close. I haven't checked myself. But both have Readmore feature, Submit news etc. You should at the very least be able to somehow move the storys and their ID's over.
It will take some work on your part. No one will do that for free for you I do not think.,

Well, how many news stories are we talking about here? 1000's?? Because if the number is manageable, then just use the Nuke ACP for creating new stories and copy/paste the text right from the old site. The Nuke ACP will take care of new ID's and everything else. Just copy, paste, and submit. You should reasonably be able to do at least 1 story per minute, which is 60 per hour. If a script is available, I've not heard of it, and while that would be a great thing to have, you can just do it by hand... no brain surgery there Wink

Nuke ACP = Nuke Admin Control Panel. It's built-in to nuke... comes with it... free... gratis... = )
