PHP Error Help

I Have A Module On Our Site And It Constantly Generates This Error In My PHP Error Log

And The Only Way For It To Stop Blowing Up My Log Is To Change This - "allow_call_time_pass_reference = Off" To On. Is There Another Way To Fix This?
