Heyhey, install Nuke Sentinel on my site...
PHP Nuke version 7.5 patched,
installed it last week (with site closed) and now having a fiddle to setup the sentinel properley, everything working fine except for... the .htaccess and the ip2country...
The .htaccess problem :
In The Administration
I have Selected... Admin HTTPAuth
with.... /home/stu/public_html/onlinearcade/.htaccess
as my path, the staccess left blank...
i have no clue on how to setup these htaccess file, but i tried that sample one and it gave me a horrible server error (500 i think it was)
currently i have no htaccess file for the root directory for the website
how do i set that up? whats the best/most secure .htaccess thingy lol?
The IP2Country Problem :
Basically it says i cannot use this feature because the tables are not installed, although i went and had a look in phpmyadmin and the 2 related tables were there although 1 of them was empty (the one actually containing all the IP's i think, the other table just looked like a massive list of countries)
and thats all...
How do i activate this feature??
Thanks for any help!! |

Just place .htaccess as the path - nothing else. Then create a blank .htaccess file with permissions of 777. Make sure it contains a blank line. You don't use the sample .htaccess file unless you are using the .staccess file and are using CGIAuth.
It sounds as if you did not get all the tables installed. Delete the tables and try a complete reinstall. |

Have you imported the range data into the IP2C? |
