Firefox not working with phpnuke 7.6 platinum install

Alright the web-site is http://www.removed.com (I removed the link) and for some reason support with firefox has died for logging into anything on the site? I don't know what in the heck happened because i didn't disable any browser related things (if there are any) and am miffed that I have to keep opening up that security whole called IE to sign into my own site. Also when submitting forum posts sometimes IE crashes?

Which version do you use ? Firefox 1.0.2 ? I just vist your site and had no problem with vers. 1.0.1. But I had also a long time problems (with vers.1.0), when I try to login as admin on my site (another Nuke version). Firefox crashes always. But I ´don`t use IE. So I use Opera too.

I had problems with Opera i'm using 1.0.2 for firefox. The funny thing is though I use it fine on another site with the same phpnuke 7.6 platinum installed as well. IE is a peice of junk but so far for me firefox has been stable except for when that stupid "Send in what you think about firefox box comes up once in awhile and crashes firefox if you don't fill it out."

If you have any firefox extensions installed, you can try to check your site again without these extensions.

Using Firefox I can't enter info into any text area. When I viewed your site with IE it also reports errors. Try changing your default theme.

I've left the company.

It seems as though phpnuke 7.6 platinum bites, Highly recommend not using it.

PHP-Nuke Platinum 7.6 is pretty nice in my opinion.

Your problems are relative to the configuration of your theme. There are some compliance issues relative to the theme programming.

First, you have disabled right click and disabled select all as well as encrypted your pages.

You should turn all of that off.

That will resolve the problems.

it's the worst program i've ever used. It's a pain to do anything that you want to custom make and themeing is near impossible. without having to pay the $100 for autotheme (which i will not do). I'd rather do things on my own then have a stock install of php nuke.

Well, I guess you should return to HTML, Hard Code, no database, no easy way to manage users/members, upload files every time you need to update content. But you can make it look very good.

Right, seeing as that's the only thing nuke is good for. Users you don't need on the site itself only for forums. Which you can use ipb for. Not everyone has an sql database nor are they always useful, downloads are easy you upload and link them. Not hard. Content is as simple as editing an html file. Nothing to it.

Hi Frei,

you can try Mambo.I have a Mambo site too. Iit`s easy to install and if you install a new theme it`s really very simple. The html check shows only a few errors in the code.

The people in this thread have only tried to help you (myself included).

As you clearly have a dislike for Nuke (and this site is all about supporting nuke) maybe you should consider looking elsewhere for whatever it is you are looking for.

Regardless, please have some common courtesy when communicating here or you are likely to find yourself booted and banned.

At minimum, please abide by the terms of service as described and to which you agreed during your registration. There's no need to be rude.

Um.. Okay.. Sorry if you interpreted it that way, I guess I can see how that looks a tad harsh. In my own defense, I was merely trying to identify how you can stop being bothered by replies if you didn't want anything to do with Nuke (or this thread).
