That's an easy one. Add these to your language/lang-english.php fileCode:define("_BTD","Today");
define("_BYD","Yesterday");
define("_BHITS","Hits");
define("_SERDT","Server Date/Time");

Ok I added this & it fixed the same error but the Time Zone is not of mine. Is that an easy change? I live in NY but I am not opposed to removing it all together.
Also, Hits New Today: is blank but shouldn't it show atleast one for me hitting the page?
Lastly, Latest: members name is blank but it says below that we had 1 new today. |

Ok so I need some help on fixing the below errors with this block. Thanks...
1) The security code text is showing up as such
_SECURITY CODE:
_TYPESECCODE:
2) Both hits sections have been blank for since I installed this block 3 days ago. What do I need to do to get the actual hits to show up.
3) The timezone is off. How do I set it to NY time which is GMT -5 I think.
4) I think I can figure this one out but I thought I would post it anyways.
I want to add a <br> after the text "Password" |

First of all, those errors are not with the block.
#1 - Your language files are in error. It needs (and should already have) those constants. Try copying them from the language file in the Your_Account module.
#2 - The block only reports what is recorded in the hits table. I would confirm that hits are being recorded in the tables.
#3 - NY time during DST is GMT-6. The zone is pulled from your server's Zone setting.
#4 - Fine where the text is printed in the code and add it. |

Thanks for the quick reply.
#1 I double checked & the above code is in the language/lang-english.php file. Now you mentioned the language file in the Your_Account module. Is the above code supposed to be in there also? If so it is not. Let me make sure this is correct. I need to paste the above code in the ROOT language/lang-english.php file, correct? If so that is what I did & I am still getting the text error. Any other thoughts?
#2 Where is the hits table? How do I check it? This is the first block that I have on my site which shows hits & not just page views. Is the hits table something I have to setup/install or turn on?
#3 My server time is: Current Time: Sun Jun 22 00:43:02 EDT 2003. I set the time zone to Eastern US but it does not give me a - zone number to choose. What is DST? I checked my Windows time zone & I see that there is a Central US GMT -6 but the Eastern GMT -5 is the best choice for NY. Am I correct? If not please explain. Thanks.
#4 Done, thanks. What is the best way to center the text & text fields? <div> or <center>? |

It has to be in both places. As to why you would still be getting the error, I don't know.

Use phpMyAdmin and check your MySQL database to see if the hits are being recorded.

Daylight Savings Time. You have to manually adjust for it.

Ok, here we go...
#1 So you know your first post did not state that the above code needs to be in both the Your_Account language/lang-english.php & root language/lang-english.php. I have added the above code to the Your_Account language/lang-english.php & I am STILL getting the error. Funny thing is I get this text error on ALL pages EXCEPT the Your Account page. On that page the text shows correctly.
#2 Will do this after I fix #1, thanks.
#3 DST, ah! Ok but the time zone does not change with DST. That should always stay as -5 for NY, right?
#4 Got it done with no problem. Thanks. |

So what? I have added more reply as you reveal more questions
#3 GMT-5 is for NON DST in New York. GMT-6 is for DST in New york. |
