Hello,

I'm new with PHP nuke and i need some help on some basic stuff..
My testing site is: http://jffs.bsfog.com/testing
I want to add links on the right but im not sure how..i mean i want to add them like i did with post nuke here: http://jffs.bsfog.com .
I also want to know how to put news from forum (posted from admin on announcments) on main page under the welcome message.
One last thing..How can i edit the login thing on the right where it says "Don't have an account yet? You can create one. As a registered user you have some advantages like theme manager, comments configuration and post comments with your name."

Basically im trying to make exact thing like this site: http://www.project-rafs.com but i don't understand how he did it..It seems like 99% of his site is phpbb and 1% php nuke..but im not sure..wat do u think?

Thank you,
Thomas

To do the links, simply create a block in blocks admin, name it what you want and INSTEAD of selecting a block from the drop down, paste the desired html code into the form.

To edit the text in the login block, just search for the defines in the main language file and edit them to your needs.

As for the other, you can achieve that using ForumNews Advanced which can be downloaded at portedmods.com

HOWEVER, be careful what you place in this block text box if you are running Nuke Sentinel!!! Make sure your admin account is "protected" (a Sentinel function). You may inadvertantly ban yourself... spoken from words of first-hand experience. LOL
