Stickies and Custom Titles

Ok, either I've forgotten or something has changed. But... now I have no clue how to make a sticky. I thought I knew how - but I could be mistaken.

Is there a place that describes how to make stickies or can someone explain it to me? I am confused - I thought before there was a sticky button, but now I can't find it.

Also, how do I make/allow custom titles with 7.6/patched and Sentinel?

You mean sticky as in "post topic as sticky" ?
Just create a topic and just below your text area where you write you see : Post topic as: Normal Sticky Announcement

Duh!!! thanks! I was thinking there was an option after a post had been made. Like if someone posts something noteworthy, I could make it a sticky.

no not realy,other alternative is to change your rights in forum admin.there you can look up your forum in forum-permissions and change that of the sticky part......for example to registered....
