Banned IP errors??

When guests try to sign the guestbook, it always gives them the "your address is banned" message. $badips in filters.inc.php is "". any ideas? Thanks.

Is this a new install? Have you made any changes? Have you tried reinstalling everything? Is it nuke, postnuke, or stand-alone? What version? I have never had this report and since the gb is as mature as it is, if this would have been a known/common error, no one would have a working gb.

Good questions. Stand alone. The GB has been working. Have not tried reinstalling. The change would have been in hardware/php versions only, to the best of my knowledge. Will reinstall clean version and get back.

Also, for some time been having balnk entries get through. I cannot recreate the bank entries myself, but they are there. Thus far I just delete them every so often.

Are you using 5.1.1? That was a bug in previous releases but has been fixed, or so I'm told Smile
