I wonder if you have extra user fields in you nuke_users table.
That might be the stumbling block...
Cheers,

I did try to view the demo site but its down. The one thing that comes to mind is are globals off on the site? |

no they are on, i currently reviewing it to see what i can do, looking at the install for beta 2 and 441 seems the install is missing some fields in the nuke_users tables or has this been changed in 441 full install,
nothing else has been added to the nuke users table except cnb account module, i have also tried this with default 7.5 and 7.6 and the problem is there as well the problem only arises when toc is on otherwise its fine, have you tried clean install see if you get the same problem
thanks

Honestly (I Hate to admit it) I haven't tried 4.4.1 on any sites yet. Its miles apart from the dev version and its been fairly quite on the forums here so I've spent what little time I've had working with those.
After the weekend I'll have a chance to look at those files. I believe that Andre released those as a bug fix compilation but after a quick glance I see there isn't a log of the changes so I'll have to diff the files and see what gives.
I still get nothing at your demo site maybe my IP range is blocked or something. |

Actually its just the demo.perfectgamestudios.com that fails perfectgamestudios.com comes back to reverse.theplanet.com just fine. Perhaps this is part of the problem? |

4.4.0 final was fairly stable with the exception of a couple of small bugs (the IP ban link as noted in the forum). But none to date are compatable with globals off that was why I asked. Also there is a long standing bug with some servers running php as a CGI (seems to mostly show up on plesk run servers) but that is really simple to fix too if that happens to be the case. |

Last I knew it was at Mesum's site. But no I've never used it and you might have compatability problems when upgrading later on so keep that in mind if you use it. (Something like it will be included but the DB structure will be completely different). |

hi
i have the same error on my website. when a user click on the link to activate his account, in signature field or field where he can enter an sentence, if he hit a ', there is an error : Something screwed up... don't you hate that?
if he hit the same sentence with \, it's ok like that : (in french) j\'aime le sport. the \ doesn't appears in the profile.
How can i make to correct this error ?
i think, i must to add a code in the new_finish3.php to convert all " ' " in " \' ", u know?
thx very much for u'r help and sorry for my bad english...
Regards

One of the reasons I use the Forum profile and registration. It is tidy and neat. Plus I have most fields required because as I am running a web community I hate empty profiles. I use the admin features of CNB to manage users though. I have found that it works really well in this fashion. |

The only problem on that is according to what you have
Code:case "new_user":
new_user();
break;
|
to be replaced with this:
Code:case "new_user":
Header("Refresh: 0; url=forums.html?file=profile&mode=register");
break;
|
This is what I have:
Code:case "new_user":
if (is_user($user)) {
mmain($user);
} else {
if ($ya_config['allowuserreg']==0) {
if ($ya_config['coppa'] == intval(1)) {
if($_POST['coppa_yes']!= intval(1)) {
include("modules/$module_name/public/ya_coppa.php");
exit;
}
}
if ($ya_config['tos'] == intval(1)) {
if($_POST['tos_yes'] != intval(1)) {
include("modules/$module_name/public/ya_tos.php");
exit;
}
}
if ($ya_config['coppa'] !== intval(1) OR $ya_config['coppa'] == intval(1) AND $_POST['coppa_yes'] = intval(1)){
if ($ya_config['tos'] !== intval(1) OR $ya_config['tos'] == intval(1) AND $_POST['tos_yes']=intval(1)){
if ($ya_config['requireadmin'] == 1) {
include("modules/$module_name/public/new_user1.php");
} elseif ($ya_config['requireadmin'] == 0 AND $ya_config['useactivate'] == 0) {
include("modules/$module_name/public/new_user2.php");
} elseif ($ya_config['requireadmin'] == 0 AND $ya_config['useactivate'] == 1) {
include("modules/$module_name/public/new_user3.php");
}
}
}
}else {
disabled();
}
}
break;

I need to see the entire index file from Your_Account. Since you are already a member of my site, it would be easier if you just post on my site and attach the file (zip it first) using the attachment mod. Post it in the PHP-Nuke help forum.
