Security code? what it does?

Hi.

Would someone please tell me what these security code have for functions?

I mean those codes that we use when we login or wanted to download a file etc.

Why should I have these codes on? Can I track a user by these codes?

Just want to know more.

Without some sort of a secured login mechanism, I could write an automated login script that would create users on your system. In fact, I could flood your system with new user requests because I wouldn't need to see nor supply a pass code. Now, nuke's passcode system is rather elementary and can be worked around too, but not by just an average code Wink

And no, you can't track a user because the codes are randomized.
