How to reduce theme layout so its not 100%

I would like to reduce my theme. Currently it's 100% and fills the whole browser. I would like to maybe change it to 85%

that depends on what theme your using..
if your theme only has a theme.php file then open it and look for the TABLES.
they ere set to 100%,change it to what you want.

second option is that you have a theme with html files in it.
Then go for the header.html cause you have tables there and in the tables.php
Backup your theme first...

Ok my theme does not have header.html. I tried reducing everywhere it says 100% in my theme.php but that doesn't reduce my theme. Any ideas
