help with how to edit/change block size on page

hi everyone. i have a slight problem. I have noticed that on some computer screens with different resolutions, etc. that my site comes up too wide, requiring a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? I tried making my left margin set to "0" and my right margin larger but it doesn't work because the right blocks still make the site width too wide.

I would like to go in and adjust the block widths....the left, right and center because my header automatically adjusts when i change the margins in my theme.php but it's the blocks that stick out on the side.

Any help you can provide is certainly appreciated. Thanks.

You still didnt fixed your messed up header?

And can you activate the block in question?
The block is in your blocks folder..
Or did you created the block in admin?
If so...post it here..
(edit: well messed up only in firefox,in IE all is ok but firefox should be fixed to....)

i am not sure how to fix my header.

as far as the blocks issue...it is basically all right blocks that cause the page to get too wide. do i just go in and adjust the right block in the blocks folder?

Candy...your making it hard to help you.
First....
did you created a block-whatevername.php file ?
No?
Then its a code you added to the blocks administration ...right?
Just post it here...its 10x easier then to help..

i guess i am not making any sense. i basically want to know how/where i can change the overall width of any block. i didn't add any code in the blocks admin. the blocks on my site are too wide which is i think what is causing it to need the horizontal scroll bar.

Well i asume your looking at your site with a 800 x 600 resolution cause i dont see any scrollbar.
But with this litle info its hard to tell how to make a block smaller.
But if a block is created within a table usualy you can set the width of the table...
But if your using 800x600 its recommened to go a step higher then that...
Like 1024 x 768....,thats most common screen resolution if i should believe my visitor stats.

okay, have a look now. i changed the right margin in theme.php to 30% and see how the right blocks hang out the side but the header adjusts?
