I got the latest scrolling downloads and modified the basic Sql so it shows not downloads from nuke_download, but links from nuke_links_links.

The scrolling works great, but there are 76 results to scroll.

Problem...on page reload, the block is not scrolling and is long enough to show all 76 results in it.

When I mouseover the block, it resizes to a normal height, by my page doesn't, (rather the page is left with a mile of grey area at the bottom).

I have it set for admin only right now so it doesn't bother users, but I can't figure out why it doesn't instantiate at the regular height. This is the case in both IE and Firefox.

NICE problem! And I thought I came up with some good ones. Can you post the code (both original) and the changes you made to it here so I can take a look at it? Also - do you want all (at this time 76) results in your scroll?

Yep, would love to have all 76 scroll into a box that's size to hold about 20 lines total.

Can't post... keeps Sentineling me and I couldn't find <st yle> or or anything else that would trip it.

Come to hireamerica.us and feeback me and I'll reply with my block if that's cool. Original code can be found in blocks download here "Advanced Downloads non GT"

Well, still having the same issue...can't seem to find a way to have it simply scroll withot first mousing over and the full mega-high box collapses but the page remains super high.

Jealous of all those scrolling blocks I'm seeing these days!

Update..

This works fine with Internet Explorer... Just Firefox has the resizing issue.

Notice that <marquee> works fine in IE, it even starts automatically...no need to mouseover.

In Firefox, <marquee> doesn't work so hot....it seems to not start until the mouseover which is where on my site it resizes but the page height is not resized.

But one question: I use Firefox on all sites....all of your scrollings are automatic....no need for me to mouse over them to start them.... can you reply with the <marquee> tag HTML you used?

Mine is:

Code:
"<Marquee height =\"200\" Behavior=\"Scroll\" Direction=\"$scrolldirection\" ScrollAmount=\"5\" ScrollDelay=\"80\" onMouse_Over=\"this.stop()\" onMouse_Out=\"this.start()\">";

Note: Mouse underscores are added just to allow me to post... Sentinel here!
