ok this is gonna sound weird but i got a mail from a member who is also a member here asking me what is wrong with the your_account..
It seems that he had a few new members from who the account got suspended right after they clicked the mail link to finish registering..(cnbya)
bit weird huh...
well suprise suprise....today exactly the same thing happend to a new member on my site...
so i checked my list of suspended accounts and that had grown from 15 to 22.
and as far as i can tell....looking at the dates..im pretty sure this started since the sentinel 2.5.0
worth mentioning is that we..."the other member" and myself are in the same situation / setup...
only upgraded sentinel....and no edited whatever...
btw...the other member posted this problem on this forum to.....
so i have no clue whats going on.... |

Nuke 7.6, patched up to 3.2b and running 2.5.0 (well....2.5.1 now) and I have no suspended users yet. No problems like that on my site, hitwalker. Strange. |

Sorry, yes I am running CNBA too.
Actually, I am already registered on your site. I even paid for a download once.
I'll try registering with another email address. Hang tight. |

I can register too. Hope there is no problem with my e-mail address.
Why are you so sure that´s a sentinel issue ? |

You know I've been getting a lot of messages saying e-mail has failed on some common free e-mail services. Perhaps thats whats happening. g-mail hotmail and a few others have done it a few times lately, not sure whats going on. |

no thats not it....
it happend to a member who forewared the text he saw...and was absolutely clear..his account was suspended........period.
with ravens member brave2zero exactly the same story.....
but i 7 suspended accounts.
so were not making this up...,just cant find the reason other then sentinel as guilty party behind this...,atleast thats what we have in common.. |

Hitwalker, I´m to lazy to install CNB but I know from another post that there are some changes required for nukesentinel .Do you also have such changed entries in modules/Your_Account/public/userinfo.php
like this:
Quote: |
global $nsnst_const;
echo "[ <a href='".$admin_file.".php?op=ABBlockedIPAdd&tip=".$nsnst_const['remote_ip']."'>"._BANTHIS."</a> ]<br>";
echo "[ <a href=\"modules.php?name=$module_name&file=admin&op=suspendUser&chng_uid=$usrinfo[user_id]\">"._SUSPENDUSER."</a> ] ";
etc. |

Hitwalker will review your application and send you an activation link if you are approved.
And then i get an apovel from you
To finish the registration process you should visit the following link in the next 24 hours to activate your user account, otherwise the information will be automaticaly deleted by the system and you should apply again: |

Ok, hitwalker...just got home from work.
I clicked on the activation link and it took me to the Personal Information page. No problems there. I clicked the finish or submit button from there (made no edits) and it took me back to the login screen. No problems so far.
But, when I go to login, it says my account is suspended. So it could be suspending the accounts when you submit the Personal Information page. Everything is fine until then, but once you submit is when you are asked to log in and find out you are suspended. |

NukeSentinel has a new "Disable" feature that you could try. If you want to disable it and delete my manunkind2 account, I will help you test right now by registering again with it disabled. Let me know.. |
