Guys you are now talking a completely different language to what I can understand!...

HTTP Auth?...CGI Auth?...

I think this is a little beyond me right now.

I only speak 3 languages and the above terminoligy is not covered in any of these.

I speak English, American & Australian!!!!... Embarassed Smile

Not to worry. We can check to see if HTTP Auth is available later. CGI Auth is definitely not. Both give you better protection against attacks on your site administration functions (specifically, admin.php) by requiring an additional user authentication (user ID and password) when someone attempts to access it.

Is everything else set up with NukeSentinel?

Kevin,

I will consider this thread now closed.

To answer your question, the only thing I need to do is implement the credit card subscription system.

That said I want to launch the website in the next few hours and will be allowing users Free access for a short time.

Am I able to incorporate the credit card subscription system at a 'later time'?

I assume I can and all I will need to do is switch the site offline via Sentinel while I 'upgrade'...Correct?

Yes, you can limit access to different functions / modules to a specific (subscription) group at a later time by changing the modules, forums, etc. settings.

If you want to switch off the site via Sentinel to upgrade, that is fine. That is what is commonly done.
