merging nuke users

i want to know if and how i can move users from my old nuke site to my new one....ive asked on other forums , but the info was way over my head.

i need detailed and easy to follow instructions on how i can do the above.

i hope someone can help me....thanks in advance

well sound easy maybe but isnt it easier to ask someone to do it for you?
It comes to this..
Every member gets an ID.
So when you have 140 members and never deleted 1 the last member has ID 140

Now the tricky part..
The other (old ) site you talk about has lets say...30 members...
member 1 and 2 is anonymous and god account.
Then it starts to count...3,4,5,6...etc..

So in order to add the old members you have to give those another ID counting from 141 !
And thats handy work.

thanks hitwalker...i dont know what i did but i messed up thats for sure Smile

i downloaded nuke_users.sql from my old site and tried to insert it - it didnt allow this process ....what happened now is when i look at site-info block i see the latest member is -- INSERT INTO `nuke_users`

ive obviously inserted incorrectly...im slowly messing my friends site up lol

this is the first time ive had to use my php admin section...and im a lil lost.

can you help me?

well i would like to help out but this type of support requires some type of donation...then it will be done for you....
If i would have all the time in the world and no problems of my own then it would be different but thats not the case now...
