Hi-
Im not sure when this started cause I dont use this link very often and I just noticed it this morning when I was going to reset a users password for him. I went into the admin CP and clicked on "Users" and I got a white page with the message "You can't access this file directly..." This is the only link in the CP that gives me this error page. Any idea's where to start?
Im completely lost. I have looked through everything and not sure exactly what to look for.
Thanks for your time,

Assuming you are using 7.5 are you using any of Chatserv's 'patched' series? |

I am running 7.5 with 3.1 patchset and am not able to replicate the issue. By the way, had you upgraded to 7.5 recently? |

I am using 7.5 and I used fantastico from cpanel to install it. When the Chatserv's 3.1 patch came out I installed that as well. I am not sure at what point the link stopped working as I dont use it on a daily basis. I re-installed all the patches and now the link to the forum in Admin CP just displays a white page. So now I have two problems.
The link to the Users in admin CP shows as
http://mysite/nuke/admin.php?op=mod_users So I went to investigate in admin/modules/users.php I didnt see a users.php
Now that I think about it...I may have upgraded at one point from a previous nuke install. If so, any suggestions there?
Hope this brings in some more idea's/leads on the fixes.
Thanks guys- |

Fantastico is probably buggy. Sounds like you have some old admin scripts in there.
Here's what I suggest: delete the entire /admin directory. Load the /admin directory from the phpNuke 7.5 package at phpnuke.org - Load the /admin directory from the Patched files |

Okay I did exactly that and still have the same issues. I even deleted cookies and temp files and logged into GOD account and still nothing has changed. Isn't there supposed to be a "Users" link in the site CP? Is it supposed to be named something else like "Edit Users"? I don't get it.
Any other idea's?
Thanks for the leads.. |

Adrenalizer3 - just to explain a little - when phpNuke 7.5 came out, a number of the admin links in the main nuke admin area got moved.
The main admin area was split into 2, with super users only having access to the top set of links and other admins the lower set of links, depending on what priveliges the main admin has given them.
In order to accomodate that restructure and in an effort to make the modules more 'modular' some of the old
admin/case
admin/links
admin/modules
files were moved directly into the main module folder and this is probably why you have links that shouldnt be there or are expecting to see links which has been moved. |
