Image Block

I've searched here & there and read for hours but I just don't understand the concept of making a block. I am after a simple block that will display a single image in the center of the block. My site is here www.themastersofdisaster.com The block I tried to make is bottom center Server List. I didn't expect to see a white border around the image either.

When adding a block from the admin page, blocks administration, enter a block title, and the HTML you want to display the image (you may want to add border=0 to the img tag). Adjust the left, right, center block settings and save...

I checked your site, but couldn't see the block.
