Hi all, I have had my main website and add-on domain sites moved to a new server unforunately after this happened I and getting many posts and emails of people explaining of page errors on all 3 sites now Sad

It seems to happen when people submit a new post then if someone clicks on the post they get an error like this

/viewtopic.php?t=152 http://www.autistic-spectrum-disorder.com/ 86.128.154.148 www.autistic-spectrum-disorder.com Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) 403

this happens with many different posts not just the same one and like I say it happens on all 3 sites???

any idea`s what this problem might be??

thanks
mrix

When I checked your DNS this morning the name servers for sea-fishing.org showed NS1/NS2. When I checked a bit later they were showing NS3/NS4. That's weird. I don't know if they were cached or what. Anyway, I would delete all your cookies and refresh your cache. Then I would rename each cookie through Forum Configuration and see if that resolves your problem and have your clients do the same thing. In addition, open up a command prompt window (Start -> Run -> cmd) and issue the following command in windoze ipconfig /flushdns. That will usually take care of this type anomaly.

- Go into Nuke Admin Control Panel
- Select Forums
- In the Forums Admin Control Panel, select Configuration
- Under the Cookie Settings section you should see these 3 settings.
Cookie domain
Cookie name
Cookie path

- Change the Cookie name field. It doesn't have to be anything secretive nor complicated. Just add a number onto the end. I would also leave Cookie domain BLANK and Cookie path /

For as long as I can remember I have always had all 3 of these fields set to blank Embarassed but have never been a problem before?

so are you saying I just need Cookie name field? if so could you tell me what the default number/code thats ment to be in there please?

also under those fields there is a part

"
Cookie secure
If your server is running via SSL, set this to enabled, else leave as disabled "

this is set to disabled is this right?

thanks for your help
