My download module shows a wrong number of downloads.I added a new download but there is no update anymore.
It seems that this problem is since a longer time, therefore I have no backup. The messages for the downloads is always the same e.g. "There are 90 Downloads and 8 Categories in our database". I´ m using Nuke 6.5 downloads module with Ravens Download Hack and Fetch Mod.
I have also tried the original modules index.php. Doesn´t change the number of the downloads.
With phpMyAdmin I found that there are different numbers of rows in the database for the table nuke_downloads_downloads this means I get on the left side "Browse: 90 rows" and if I click on the table I can see the complete 95 rows. The analyze status for the table is up to date. I tried also the repair function but there is still a wrong number in my downloads module. Any ideas how and where to repair this ?
Thanks in advance |

No, all files are in the database, but the result is wrong because of the different rows. 90 and 95. I never had this problem before. The module shows only the 90 rows from the left site means the downloads. However, there is no other problem with this module or the hacks.
I quess I ´m busy till next year to find out whats wrong with the index.php. Would be great to know why this stopped at 90. |

well i doubt that this has something to do with your files, unless you edited some related files of the downloads mod.
But from what you wrote about how it shows in your tables its more likely something is stuck in there...
you could start inspecting from row 89,90 and up.. |

I would be tempted to grab the data so I can check it in a text editor then wipe the records from the DB and re-insert the data using INSERT. |

Thanks, quess I fixed it. Through Hitwalkers question "Did you deleted files?" I checked the sites in the table nuke_downloads_downloads and indeed I missed several lid´ s. I added the downloads for those lids again. I have now 97 rows and the same number of downloads. It seems the problem is similar if users are deleted from the table.
Btw: Is there a way to change the Next Autoindex Value in the table ? |

If you optimize a table, I believe it resets the autoindex value. Not sure if you can set it any other way. |

I had the problem that a new download got lid 90 but when I looked in the database it was stored in the table with lid 91.Very confusing. Therefore my question about the autoindex. But I repaired and optimized the table several times and its fixed. Thanks. |

ALTER TABLE [table name] auto_increment=XXX
where xxx is the number |
