theme conversion?

what things do i need to change to make themes work for this 7.6 distro? i've already tried some themes that don't work very well with the distro. are there any specifics of which i should change?

Please remember that this distro has not altered anything that would alter the themes other than the 3.1 patches. It is still phpnuke v7.6

I'm having some theme issues too with 2.02.00 I'm using fiblue3d from nukemods. This theme worked fine with the 1.05 ditribution, now the background and most of the images for the blocks aren't showing up. ?

I'm also noticing that while I can get into forum configuration from the admin module section, when I click on the regular 'Forums' link from the left side menu I get a blank page. I didn't see any errors when I uploaded. Maybe the theme problem and the forum problem are coming from the same thing?

Eureka! Nevermind. I just saw that my index.php under Modules/Forums was uploaded, but only showed 0kb. I re-uploaded the index.php for modules/forums, and the forums works AND my themes!! Cheers

UPDATE: Ok, spoke too soon. The theme now only works for the forum page, but not for the rest of the site....need to check the rest of my uploads....

UPDATE#2: Aha, try re-uploading the syle.css in the theme/style folder. Now the theme works for the entire site. The style.css was showing up as there, but as 0kb like the forum index.php.

the right side's blocks won't show up on the homepage. where do i go to edit that?

it will show up on some pages, like articles for example however.
