Survey and Who Is On Counter

Both of these functions have stopped working in the last week. They were fine before that and the Raven code has been running on the site for several months now (since April, I believe). Basically, if you add a new survey, it only shows the title, none of the options to vote and the Line that used to read "There are currently, <#> guest(s) and <#> member(s) that are online" doesn't show the numbers anymore. No recent changes have been made to the site. What would cause this?

Check with your host to see if there were any changes to php settings or versions. You might also want to check the database tables.

Ok, the site host says they haven't changed anything but they were down for several days last week. Could something have gotten reset when they brought the servers back up? I asked them but I rather get the feeling I am annoying them with my ignorance. Perhaps it's time I found a new host.

Use phpMyAdmin to check the database. Sometimes when the database goes down, tables that are being used get damaged.
