Sorry, but I don't understand this. Can you post a link to a screen shot or send it via email to kguske at nukeseo dot com? |

FCKeditor works with both versions, but you may have to change a setting - not sure. What do you mean by "put in the original fckeditor.php"? Do you you mean from the standard FCKeditor download? |

I'm not hijacking this thread but I will say that it's a known fact that nuke does not work under MySQL v4.1.x and php5.x without modifications. We do not support it. |

I have not done any modifications on any 1....but if you look at
my last post so will you see it works... if you put in standard FCKeditor
fckeditor.php instead for that 1 you have in distro.... OR
Delete this
Code: // PHP 5 Constructor (by Marcus Bointon <coolbru@users.sourceforge.net>)
function __construct( $instanceName )
{
$this->InstanceName = $instanceName ;
$strBP = dirname($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']);
if ($strBP{strlen($strBP)-1} != "/") $strBP .= "/";
$strBP .= 'includes/FCKeditor/';
$this->BasePath = $strBP;
$this->Width = '98%' ;
$this->Height = '200' ;
$this->ToolbarSet = 'PHPNuke' ;
$this->Value = '' ;
$this->Config = array() ;
}
|
And put in this one instead
Code: // PHP 5 Constructor (by Marcus Bointon <coolbru@users.sourceforge.net>)
function __construct( $instanceName )
{
$this->InstanceName = $instanceName ;
$this->BasePath = 'includes/FCKeditor/' ;
$this->Width = '98%' ;
$this->Height = '200' ;
$this->ToolbarSet = 'PHPNuke' ;
$this->Value = '' ;
$this->Config = array() ;
}
|
WE DO NOT SUPPORT IT ??? lol....what do you have in your stoneage

Now I understand what you meant. I added that code so most users wouldn't need to modify the configuration when using a subdirectory or a subdomain. It worked on the test sites I used - not sure why it didn't work on yours. Maybe it's because we're using such old versions of everything...

BTW, in the interest of full disclosure, there is an additional line in the original file - commented out - that must be uncommented to support sites that use directories (which is what led to the code above). |

The style, format, font and size tools are not available on the standard toolbar, but are available to administrators. If you're using that and it doesn't work, it might be caused by your theme / css.

Just as an FYI, on my servers I use Apache 1.3.34, MySQL 4.0.x and PHP 4.4.1
What isn't working in banners? I haven't modified any core nuke code other than to add PatchLevl 3.1 |

Let me be more specific: what do you mean by "banners don't work"?
Have you activated banners in the admin settings / preferences? |

I just checked your site. It's the default fisubice theme. If you see the site now, you'll notice that I changed the default theme, and a banner is displayed. |

As I mentioned, the issue with using font, style, size changes via the WYSIWYG editor is that the CSS can (and usually does) override it. The only way around it is to add additional classes / styles to the CSS and then specify them via the editor. |
