Comments to forums modification?

I have seen this modification before on sites where their newsarticles and comments are all on their forums, so basically the story is the first article and than all posts after that are comments

Im just wondering if this is a mod that can be downloaded or if this is something I need to do on my own?

sniperz53, I think Guardian is using something like that for his http://www.code-authors.com site... In fact, I see that he's got a lot of new things going on over there... I need to take another peek.
