Hey Raven or anyone who can help,

I have the version installed as listed in my subject. I was wondering if anyone had considered putting a search function in to be able to search the user defined fields? I'm sure you know the user defined fields are stored in _cnbya_fields, and the application allows you to search in the Main Users (_users) and in the temp users (_temp_users) but it does not allow you to search the _cnbya_field table.

I know how to do it in mysql, but I need my people at work to be able to do it in the application. I'm sure it's just a few lines of code, but for me, that could take years, lol!

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Where would the search occur - in the memberlist module? Or in the Your_Account/admin ?

Was this something you were considering? I really like cnyba and the ability to add custom fields to the user database. But one of those fields I need to be able to search by. We want to keep track of our customers by company name. I supposed I could just write an sql statement to pull the data back, but I know I won't always be around and a search function that would search a cnyba field like "Company Name" and bring back the users associated with that company would be awesome.

We're trying to get an update on the status of CNB YA...not so easy unfortunately. I have too many other things on my plate right now to add that, too, but possibly in the future when things clear up a bit...
