Another question about NSN GR downloads and Firefox

I did a search and I did not see this problem. A user can see the security image on the login page but not in the dls.

yes. I have had no other complaints from anyone else and I have lots of dls going on..

Hhmmm... not sure what it could be, but I do know FF is pretty picky about having valid HTML. You might want to see how the URL is formed for the link. Also, if you are using GTNG, that could possibly mess things up a bit if you are not careful.

I haven't noticed this, but I'm not using the security image. I'm not sure I'd agree that Firefox is picky about proper HTML - it is forgiving (e.g. displays nothing, instead of a broken picture image when an IMG src isn't accessible).

How about PMing an example link?

I can access your downloads/files with IE but not with FF - and I do not even have an account!!

So you can download files without registering? Interesting. I followed the instructions on how to make them viewable to unregistered but only dled by registered! So you are having problems with FF then? Security image or you cannot even get there?

*edit* This is a problem... I just tried it and from the links on the home page and you cannot it says file access denied with the Exclaimation point iimage but if you go into the DLS section then I can...

Security image was fine for me using IE and I could view files.
I did not get that far with FF due to the access permissions.

Ah interesting. I found a couple I still had as visitors could download.. which is why I thought it wasn't working. So you can see the files but would have to register with IE to download but you cannot even see the files with FF... so what does this mean? Incompatible with FF?
